An examination of the imapct of corporate governance on supply chain management (A Case Study: Mehr eghtesad Bank in Ilam province)

A desirable system of corporate governance makes sure that banks are utilizing theirassets efficiently and also considering a wide range of beneficiaries and thecommunity in which they are working. The aim of present study is to examining theimpact of corporate governance on supply chain management in branches of MehreEghtesad banks in Ilam. In this regard, after studying and considering previousliterature within a theoretical bass, research's framework is offered. Research methodof present study is an applied method in terms of purpose and in terms of datagathering it is regarded as correlative- descriptive study. In order to make a field studyupon present research, a population consisting all of 38 employees working inbranches of Mehre Eghtesad bank in Ilam was used. By respecting census method allof population was selected as sample of study. In addition to library studies,researchers-provided questionnaire was applied as data collecting tool, whose validitywas confirmed by experts and whose reliability was obtained through Chronbachalpha coefficient. In order to analyze conceptual framework, first, confirmatory factoranalysis was done and then structural equations were applied for measuring impact ofvariables.. Findings obtained through research indicate that corporate governance andits components (size of the board of directors, influence of CEO, duality of CEO'stasks, autonomy of the board of directors, duration of chairmanship of CEO) has asignificant impact on supply chain management.
