Abstract:

The paper aims to provide sanitary conditions, keep the environment clean, recoverywastewater and increase the quality of the water treatment structure using thestandardization of components used in the production and assembly. The scope of thispaper is to determine the required performance for the wastewater treatment usinganaerobic bacteria in removing the sewage sludge. Wastewater treatment orrefinement is usually divided into three steps.First step: The preliminary treatment is a physical treatment which includes wasteabsorption, grain absorption, and sedimentation of suspended solids and finallydisposal of sludge.Second step: Secondary treatment is a biological treatment which is done usingdifferent anaerobic bacteria existing in the wastewater and providing their growth andreproduction.Third step: Advanced or final treatment which includes the clarification of wastewaterusing one of the methods of de-nitrification, activated carbon, desalination, ionexchange, etc.If components of a wastewater treatment system work correctly, the wastewaterpollution can be reduced to %09 in the second step. The reason is that today inwastewater treatment plants, the third step of treatment is not used, on the one handand advanced treatment facilities (third step of treatment) are very costly, on the otherhand. This paper provides fundamental information about prefabricated concrete watertreatment systems with anaerobic technology and aims to determine and investigateother existing systems.
