Abstract:

In this study a model based on local composition with considering theeffects of free volume for Polymer-Polymer aqueous two-phase systemshas been represented. The proposed model of the represented two termmodel in this study has been used for the prediction of phase equilibriaand aqueous two-phase systems which includes Dextran andPolyethylene Glycol polymers with different molecular weights.Interactive parameters and also the amount of the diversion of theexperimental data for the mentioned systems has been represented. Therepresented model were compared with UNIQUAC-NRF, Wilson-NRFand UNIQUAC models. The obtained results showed that therepresented model has an acceptable advantage for the prediction ofaqueous two-phase systems including Dextran and Polyethylene Glycol.
