Influence of marble powder on high performance concrete(HPC)

This paper, reports the influence of using marble powder as a partial substitution for Portland cement (PC) that was investigated based on previous studies. Comparing all results reveals that the durability and compressive strength is suitable to use in construction industry. But should be noticed that compressive strength decrease with increasing replacement. Basis on results, 48 MPa compressive strength is reachedafter curing the reference concrete. But on HPC up to 65 MPa compressive strength is reachable. Current is examined to investigate the chloride ion permeability. As the result concluded the HPC reduce the migration of electric current and also reduce the oxygen permeability up to 85%.
