Evaluation ecology potential of urban development in around area of Tehran metro line(Case study: metro lie 5 of Tehran)

Urban sustainable transport implies fast mobility of public vehicles, people and commodities that require people’s comfort and environmental sustainability with the most favorable cost and effort. A modern city must have an efficient and extensive transport system for citizens’ communication, access and relationship at different regions of city.The purpose of this research is, selecting lands in order to urban development according ecology potentials. This research is applied. Also we use (GIS) software and (AHP) process. In order to, at first were collected local data (plans) and then was done GIS ready also was used overly method in GIS for analyzing information. Findings shows, 25.53% of lands is inappropriate potential, 1.93% is weak, 19.76 are moderate and 52.78% have high potential ecology.
