Abstract:
Preferential oxidation CO, are used for purification hydrogen afterprocess reforming methane with water vapor and shift water-gas, in fuelcell while CO percentage reaches in stream from 1% to approximately10 ppm. Ceria is an important component that is used as support inPROX process (Wu and Zhu, 2013). PROX catalysts have high ability atoxidation CO and convert it to CO2. In this work, CeO2 weresynthesized by precipitation method and supported ceria modified withpromoters Zn, Zr. Cu and Mn. Regards to our team previous work, load7%W Copper with impregnation method, on ceria catalyst with/ withoutpromoters in lattice ceria are done. The copper-ceria catalysts werechoosing as the best catalyst for PROX. The best weight percent forpromoters are 10%mole fraction. Method co-precipitation is used tosynthesis the support catalyst and the results Compared together. In the end, we examined effect of operation condition such as feed ratio andGHSV. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) and SEM techniques were appliedfor evaluation properties of catalysts.
