Abstract:

Nanoelectronic is the most important branch of nanotechnology that is not valid without silicon wafer. Silicon is a semiconductor and one of the most numerous elements on earth. For this reason investigating nano silicon wafer sheets (NSWSs) is very vital. NSWSs have shown to possess conducting behavior and thermal conductivity. Such properties make NSWSs useful candidate for a verity of applications especially nanoelectronic and nanoactuators devices. Motivated by these potential, vibration damping of NSWs traversed by a moving nano-particle when subjected to combined thermo loading in Visco-Pasternak foundation are studied here. To achieve this goal, the nonlocal continuum theory of Eringen on Kirchhoff plate is considered. The material property of the system is assumed to be viscoelastic isotropic silicon wafer. The governing equation is derived using Hamilton’s extended principle and Kelvin-Voigt model for viscoelastic material. The effects of small scale parameters and thermal loading are considered. Also finite Fourier method is applied to obtain the frequency ratio, static deflection aspect ratio, elastic and viscoelastic medium coefficients.
