Abstract:

Designing aviation products is a multidisciplinary science with a high complexity and oftendelays, extra costs or less profitability than predefined goals of projects. On the other hand, Iranaviation industry faces a huge amount of standards, requirements, and procedures, which have toconsider in product lifecycle accurately. These requirements have overlap or pursue the same goalsin different ways which meeting all of them leads to decrease the speed of completing projects ordefeat in reaching its goals. This research ends to develop a localized model based on hybridapproach of System Engineering and Design Bureau’s Requirements for aviation products that inaddition to considering these requirements, provides more agility and efficiency. For developingthis model, experts in aviation industry have interviewed. A purposed questionnaire also hasdistributed. Thus, using experts` opinions and derived hybrid results, standard requirements ofsystem engineering and product design requirements have examined, and by adding, eliminating,and/or reducing some work elements, design process management has optimized. Moreover,statistical analysis derived from questionnaire confirmed the experts` opinion.
