Abstract:

In this paper the vibration and the first six natural frequency of a Friction Stir Process (FSP) fortified St 37 plate is investigated from vibrational point of view to extract the critical point of stress dispersion in the surface of the plate. The stress dispersion after dynamic loading showed the critical vibrational points. The importance of this investigation is related to the conformity of the most strength zone of the FSPed plate with the highest rate of the stress. This matter shows that doing FSP with Nano-ZrO2 particles is an efficient way for steels to be fortified against high stresses which impose to the plate under dynamic static loading. So it is recommended that at points which collapse is predictable under dynamic loading FSP be done for preventing and protection.
