Abstract:

Background & objectives: Today, at the same time increasing the knowledge of people indifferent communities to develop and variety of channels and media has gone, fundamentalchanges in people's behavior communities, particularly the behavior of patients can be seenthe issue along with increasing prosperity and people's expectations, changes a lot of formsand delivery of health services in the countries of the world. However, the change in thepattern of diseases and the rapid changes in technologies and continuing medicalequipment used in hospitals, the increasing hospitalization costs has lead to managers anddecision makers health system has faced with many challenges. Currently, the health caremarket has become a competitive market and many factors in choosing a hospital bypatients benefit from hospital care and poor efficiency. The present study was toinvestigate the factors influencing the choice of hospital illness among hospitalizedpatients in Ardabil province, was conducted in 1394.Methods: This study is cross-sectional, descriptive and correlational that the population ofpatients in both private hospitals and public hospitals of Ardabil province in 1394 haveformed. The study sample consisted of 895 subjects who were randomly selected using theproportional allocation method. The data collection tool was a questionnaire that itsvalidity and reliability was confirmed with a correlation coefficient of 92% and descriptivestatistics, frequency tables and logistic regression was used to analyze the data.Results: The findings showed that social factors, hospital services and hospital facilities,with 95% choosing the hospital there is a direct correlation. According to the logisticregression analysis was performed and the amount of EXP (B) of the three variables, thefirst priority patient hospital services and descriptive statistics, frequency tables andlogistic regression was used to analyze the data.Conclusions: Patients with low costs are a major draw to the public sector hospitals andprivate hospitals are doctor recommended. Role of these two factors led to the blurringeffect of other factors have been examined in this study.
