Abstract:

increasing growing up in city population & resulted vehicles has attracted authorities of urban projects as a problem. The limitation of surface streets establishment for traffic decreasing in city level has called for intra – city transporting methods applying such as tunnel. Any engineering construction such as tunnel must be respondent for its defined purposes & outputs and must have its own safe & economical conditions in designing & construction period. Avoiding risk has been evaluated as an engineering view and well desired conditions. Avoiding risk causes cost increasing and on the other hand innovation causes some risks. This makes confliction. After risk source's identification and quality analysis and same cases, quantity analysis, the reaction to risk becomes clear and finally risk will be controlled. The aim of current article is to study Niayesh tunnel's risk with a focus on identification of risks. Their sources and their effects, and as well as consideration of urban tunneling projects' risk in different classifications, the most suitable classification is elite. After consideration of risk's effects in different phases of project, solutions are presented as a proper response to risks in Niayesh tunnel project.
