خلاصه مقاله:
Essential oils (EOs) are natural concentrated aromatic hydrophobic liquid products obtainedfrom plants by hydrodistillation or steam distillation, expression, or solvent extraction. Typeof EOs and their main components have been used for a wide variety of purposes includingperfumes, cosmetics, foods and drinks, and medicines at different periods for thousands ofyears. In particular, some EOs exerts an anti-inflammatory and antifungal activity that formedthe basis of their applications as a natural antimicrobial additive in food manufacturing andpreservation to extend the shelf life of food products [1]. Nanoemulsions are transparent ortranslucent dispersions of oil and water that are stabilized by surfactant and co-surfactantmolecules. Moreover, nanoemulsions have a droplet size of less than 100 nm that make themresist against aggregation or creaming processes [2].
