Ocean wave energy is reliable and sustainable source of energy; therefore, it is vital to absorb maximum energy from each point wave. ocean waves may have uncertainly and noises, effecting input and output signals. therefore, a robust controller with the ability of predicting states and outputs is vital. The proposed controller must estimate future state or output and show a reliable performance under severe events. The suggested control technic is based on Model Predictive Controller(MPC)to achieve objectives. the feature of model predictive controller is then compared with Linear Quadratic Gaussian(LQG) controller, a similar optimal controller which has the ability to work under whiteGaussian noise, finally performance of both controllers is analyzed through simulating
