Numerical investigation of propeller-hull interaction of underwater marine vehicle

In the hull design of underwater vehicle stern form, geometry of rudder and propeller are among the important factors that have an effect on the vessel. Thrust deduction and wake fraction factors are two parameters that have important effect on the design of underwater and surface marine vessels, in which this information on these two parameters in the underwater vessels against surface marine vehicle not available. Thus, the main purpose in this paper is extracting of the thrust deduction and wake fraction factors for a underwater marine vehicle with a high skew conventional propeller system. To implement algorithm of extraction these two factors the method of computational fluid dynamics based on finite volume method is used
