خلاصه مقاله:
Risk assessment is the determination of quantitative or qualitative value of risk related to a concrete situation and a recognized threat. Using risk assessment process can remove a hazard or reduce the level of its risk by adding precautions or control measures, as necessary. Quantitative risk assessment (QRA) software and methodologies give quantitative estimates of risks. PHAST is one of the software that offers a simple and flexible process for analyzing process industry hazards. A case study about reflux drum containing carbon dioxide, methane, ethane, and propane was studied as a scenario in BELEVE consequence. It is found that the risk of explosion is more than others, therefore it is suggested that reaction plan preparation in emergency for explosion creation should be a priority.
