Abstract:

Dopamine is an antigenic hormone that using as a drug for controlling the Parkinson disease. Sensitive and selective determination of dopamine is required for therapeutic monitoring. Ion mobility spectrometry (IMS) is used as a sensitive method for determination of this component. Different conditions like injection and cell temperature, source and drift voltage and flow rate were optimized to achieve the best sensitivity. For selective determination of dopamine in urine sample, extraction of this drug is necessary. For this purpose a new nanocomposite based on cobalt and graphene with high paramagnetic property was synthesized and applied as a solid phase for extraction. After extraction the solid phase was eluted by methanol and injected to corona discharge IMS. Detection limit was obtained in very low level (0.5 ng. mL-1) and the recovery value was in the range 98.5-103.5%. The result confirmed the capability of SPE-IMS for selective and very sensitive determination of drug in biological sample
