Abstract:

This research assessed the effect of next generation carbon family adsorbents Graphene oxide nanosheet (GOS) for removing of CP from the water samples. The effects of initial concentration of ciprofloxacin and temperature on adsorption capacity were studied.The monolayer adsorption capacity (qm) decreased with the increase of the temperature from 25°C to 45°C. Non-linear regressions were carried out in order to define the best fit model for every system. Three error functions were applied to predict the optimum model. Among various models, Toth isotherm models represented the equilibrium adsorption data of CP. The study showed that GOS can be efficiently removed CP from water solution
