خلاصه مقاله:
Water, economy and employment, are tightly linked by complex relationships and generate multiple problems all over the world (78% of jobs worldwide depend on water). Consistency between water policy and other sector policies, particularly that dealing with employment, is thus fundamental to a coordinated approach to resource management. To consolidate these interdependencies (water use), the horizon 2030 agenda for sustainable development, adopted in September 2015 by the United Nations defines several objectives, including the Objective 6 (guarantee access for all to water and sanitation) and the Objective 8 (promoting decent work and economic growth). Algeria is committed in a sustainable development. Confronting the challenge of creating new employment opportunities for youth, the water in the context of sustainable development has an interesting potential in Algeria. According to a study realized by the German development cooperation agency (GIZ), in the context of sustainable development and in order to boost the development of the labor market, and to bring down unemployment, more than 1.4 million jobs could be created in Algeria in 2025 in activities related to the water and sustainable development.
