خلاصه مقاله:
The esterification reaction of isoamyl alchohol by different acyl donors has been studied in the presence of different chemo catalysts namely Amberlyst 15, Amberlyst 16, and Amberlite 120-IR andbio catalysts namely immobilized enzyme Novozyme 435 from Candida. antarctica, Lipozyme RMIMfrom Rhizomucor miehei. Among several reactants, including acetic acid, acetic anhydride, and ethyl acetate gave best yields at the present of Novozyme 435 and Amberlyst 15. A maximum ester yield of 100% was obtained using acetic anhydride as acyl donor and Novozym 435 as enzyme at 50°C. The immobilized biocatalyst, Novozyme 435 has an added benefit of reusability till 7 repetitive cycles. Besides, the synthesis is executed in the solvent free system that contributes the production of flavor in greener way. Incorporating microwave apparatus was an added novelty to the conventional method of synthesis of isoamyl acetate by different acyl donors
