Abstract:

In this paper, new robust fuzzy controller has been combined with Flexible AC transmission system (FACTS) devices to enhance the stability problem in multi-machine power system. FACTS devices equiped the probability to control voltages and power flows in a power system. Hence, to make of this option, the set values of the FACTS controllers have to be designated by fitting methods. Furthermore, thyristor-controlled series capacitor (TCSC) and a static var compensator (SVC) has been considered in this complicated controller design. Where, the permitted parameters of fuzzy controller have been optimized by new intelligent algorithm by seeing the time overriding and refining the application of proposed controller construction. Effectiveness of the proposed technique have been applied over multi-machine power system.
