خلاصه مقاله:
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are small and non-coding ribonucleic acids that play critical roles in regulation of host genome expression at post-transcriptional level. Since finding miRNA target experimentally is costly and needs spending much time, the use of machine learning methods is a growing research area for miRNA target prediction. In this paper, a new classifier is proposed to predict human miRNA targets in which the Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference system (ANFIS) is utilized as the base classifier in rotation forest. For finding the best radii parameters of ANFIS models, Genetic Algorithm (GA) is used. Experimental results confirm that the proposed method is well comparable to the methods in the literature.
