خلاصه مقاله:
Thymolphthalein was successfully grafted onto graphene oxide. The resulting nanoplatelets were incorporated into polypropylene via melt mixing. State of dispersion of the nanoplatelets in the polymer matrix was examined using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and was shown to be homogeneous. Determination of oxidation onset temperature (OOT) and oxidative induction time (OIT) of the samples with the aid of differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), proved that the nanoplatelets improve the oxidative stability of the polymer in the melt state. However, the stabilization efficiency of the nanoplatelets is not as outstanding as that of Songnox 1010, a commercially used antioxidant for polypropylene
