خلاصه مقاله:
A least square finite element method is employed to solve the advection of the interface in journal bearing flow for two inert liquids, and the results are employed to study the distributive mixing. For this purpose, the development of interfacial area is chosen to be criteria of the mixing during the mixing time. It was shown that the design parameters are important factor in determining the extent of the distributive mixing and the back pressure which is developed due to the eccentricity of the rotating cylinders is a parameter which can improve the mixing quality.
