Abstract:
This research describes a novel cross-linking mechanism for synthesizing PAA microgels by precipitation polymerization method. At the first time, 1-10 decanediol (alcohol type cross-linker) was used as cross-linker to prepare cross-linked poly acrylic acid. The post curing stage was defined in this study. Effect of crosslinker concentration, time and temperature of post curing stage on the samples properties was investigated
