خلاصه مقاله:
Polypropylene/Polycarbonate/Poly(styrene-b-(ethylene-co-butylene)-b-styrene) (PP/PC/SEBS) ternary blends were produced via melt blending in a co-rotating twin-screw extruder. The fracture behaviors of the blends, including single edge notched three point bending (SEN-3PB), were studied to establish the role of core-shell particles in improving the fracture toughness of blends. The effects of core-shell particles on fracture behavior of PP/PC/SEBS blends were investigated. The results showed that, in R30 (contain individual rubber particles) the crack initiation energy is more than BR30 (contain core-shell particles). It can be concluded that the core-shell particles have more resistance against crack initiation. In R30 and BR30 samples the crack propagation energy is the same. It can be concluded that the core-shell particles and individual rubber particles show the same resistance against crack propagation
