خلاصه مقاله:
Nowadays the filtration process is being increasingly used in various areas such as water purification, food industries, filtering air dust and other separation applications. In this work, the HDPE microporous filters have been fabricated via sintering process and characterized using different methods such as DSC, optical microscopy and permeability test. Based on DSC results the sintering temperature was selected in the vicinity of melting temperature of used HDPE powder, i.e. 127-129 °C. Permeability test results showed that with increasing the sintering temperature from 128 °C to 129 °C the liquid permeability is strongly reduced indicating formation of non-porous solid material. In other words, sintering temperature is a key processing parameter with a strong impact on microstructure development and final properties of the prepared filters
