Rigid polyurethane (RPU) foams can be made with a wide range of physical and chemical properties, and are used in wide variety applications such as thermal insulating. RPU are produced by the reaction between isocyanate and polyol. Blowing agents are used for producing RPU too. Thermal behavior of RPU foam depends on various factors including cell structure, the kind and amount of blowing agent. This study investigates the thermal behavior of ethanol, distilled water, and acetone blown- RPU foams, using TG/DTA. The result shows in all three cases, thermal degradation temperature somewhat changes. In addition to, water observation and density of these foams also have been reported in this study
