خلاصه مقاله:
Novel series of alginate-based materials as environmentally benign biopolymeric organocatalysts served for the synthesis of imidazo[1,2-a]pyridines and 2-aminothiophenes through one-pot, three-component condensation reactions. Alginic acid and both sodium alginate and sodium homopolymannuronate were prepared and characterized as the green heterogeneous insoluble and homogenous soluble catalysts in aqueous media, respectively. The very mild reaction conditions, low reaction temperatures, low reaction times, excellent yields, combined with easy recovery and significant reusability of the catalysts are the main advantages of these methodologies.
