In this study, nylon-6/ plasticized PVB blends were prepared via melt compounding and effect of weight fraction of the PVB on the crystallization behavior of nylon-6 was studied. DSC thermograms revealed that when the PVB content was low, crystallization behavior was similar to the pure nylon-6. In contrast, for the blends with high weight fraction of the PVB, a new peak was observed at lower temperatures due to the fractionated crystallization. These results indicate that morphology of the blends containing a crystallizable polymer has a significant influence on the crystallization behavior
