خلاصه مقاله:
This research has performed to probe the effect of modified graphene nanoparticles on the mechanical properties of polyurethanes nanocomposites. The polyurethanes were synthesized through a two-step polyaddition reaction. In the first step, hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI) and polycaprolactone (PCL) diol were mixed to obtain a NCO-terminated prepolymer. After that, 1,4-butanediol (1,4-BDO) as a chain extender was added to the mixture to obtain the neat PU. The analysis of experimental results illustrated that PU nanocomposite coatings reinforced with grapheme (G) have got superior thermal and mechanical properties compared to those of pristine PUs
