In this study, mixing methods effects on morphology and mechanical properties of polypropylene/ethylene-propylene-dien rubber (PP/EPDM) tough thermoplastic blend that reinforced with talc powder were investigated. Blends were prepared by different methods in internal mixer and twin-screw extruder. This evaluation showed that the morphological and mechanical properties of samples changed by the different mixing methods. The results show improvement of blend s mechanical properties when more part of talc incorporated in rubber phase. It is inferred from the mechanical properties that in the internal mixer; izod impact strength is higher when EPDM and talc compound is firstly prepared on two-roll mill and mixed with PP
