خلاصه مقاله:
In this study, the apatite-forming ability of the citrated starch was evaluated by soaking the sample in the simulated body fluid. The Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectra revealed that B-type carbonated apatite successfully formed on the surface of citrated starch after 21 days of soaking in simulated body fluid. Indeed, the high chemical affinity of carboxyl group in citric acid resulted in primary heterogeneous nucleation of calcium phosphate in starch hydrogel
