Abstract:

The present work optimizes the various inoculation parameters for increase bacterial cellulose (BC) production by Acetobacter xylinum BPR2001. Response surface methodology (RSM) was applied to optimize the process parameters. The optimized parameters for maximum cellulose production (21 g/L) obtained were inoculums age 3day, inoculation ratio 100rpm, day of adding ethanol in first day. This production is maximum value that the literature has attained recently
