Pd-nanoparticle-containing hydrogels were successfully prepared by in situ reduction of Palladium(II) chloride in the presence of graphene oxide(GO) sheets as stabilizing agent during polymerization of acrylamide(AM). FT-IR, SEM, and TEM.and thermal properties of the synthesized hydrogels were investigated. The interior morphology of the gels exhibit continuity, which is a common feature for hydrogel networks. catalytic activities of the hydrogels were also investigated.The hydrogels containing well-dispersed PdNPs showed significant catalytic activity.
