خلاصه مقاله:
Silicone rubber possesses a high potential of application for developing monolithic drug delivery systems however, its curing extent and kinetics may negatively be influenced in the presence of some drugs. Silicone elastomer curing kinetics was investigated here in the presence of Estradiol Benzoate (EB) by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) using Vyazovkin isoconversional method by plotting activation energy vs. relative degree of conversion. According to the results, EB retards silicone rubber curing but decreases the activation energy needed for curing reaction at the same time
