خلاصه مقاله:
Ortho hydroxyl compounds are having the capacity to build through phenolic oxygen and tertiary nitrogen with efficient metal cheating agents and have beenstudied as Schiff base polymers [1]. Present work describes the Schiff base polymer of [poly methylene bis(2hydroxybenzalde)1,2-phenylenediimine]condensed with formaldehyde as an adsorbent for metal ions e.g. Cu (II), Co(II), Ni (II), Fe (III) and Cd (II) with preconcentration [2], followed by desorptionand determination by atomic absorption spectrophotometer. The work also examined the kinetics of sorption [3-4], sorption isotherms andthermodynamics of sorption, for these metal ions on the resin. Data provided for both synthetic and real samples represents the resultsof this study in detail
