خلاصه مقاله:
PET is a copolymer of ethylene glycol with either terephthalic acid or dimethyl terephthalate. It is commonly used as packaging material for drinking water, mineral water,carbonated beverages and edible oils. Todays, polymer nanocomposites are recently used for packaging materialsbecause of their superior mechanical strength, reduction inweight, increased heat-resistance and flame retardancy, improved barrier properties against oxygen, carbon dioxide,ultraviolet, moisture and volatiles, and conservation of flavour in drinks and beverages [1]. However introducing a newtechnology, it is of high importance to investigate if any drawbacks and safety problems there are. In this study, migration of silicon from PET/Clay nanocomposites into acidic food simulant at two storage temperature has been investigated
