A widely used approach in Ziegler-Natta catalyst synthesis involves the use of adducts of type MgCl2.nEtOH, in which the value of n may vary from 1 to 6 [1]. Many reports describethe preparation of these adducts with different n values; however, a deep knowledge about the relationship betweenadduct structure and catalyst behavior was not achieved yet and many concepts are under discussion
