Microcapsules can be defined as microscopic containers enclosing functional materials with a polymer matrix. Among all the characteristics of microcapsules, size and particle sizedistribution are significant factors since they directly affect several properties such as core content or loading, specificsurface area and supercooling. The objective of this study is an investigation through the effects of time and speed of homogenization, and alsosurfactant amount on the particle size of liquid-filled microcapsules. Microcapsules were prepared through in-situcondensation polymerization with hexadecane (HD) as the liquid core and melamine-formaldehyde (MF) as the shell material
