Nowadays microcapsules are applied in versatile fields such as adhesives, drugs, catalysts and phase change material (PCM). In industrial applications, microcapsule production time during thepolymerization process is a key factor to minimize the energy consumption and increase the productivity.In this work, with a new approach, we investigated shell formation of melamine-formaldehyde (MF) microcapsules through interfacial polymerization containing n-hexadecane (HD)by sampling and analyzing to obtain a minimum batch time and reaching appropriate thermal properties
