خلاصه مقاله:
Current second language studies has encouraged the use of pragmatics in language learning classrooms. This study investigated the effect of teaching request through collaboration on the intake of language learners. To this purpose,a total of 21 Azari learners of English took a proficiency test and they were divided into three groups ofhomogenous collaborative group, heterogeneous collaborative group and control group. To measure learners’request making performance a pretest was administrated. The treatment lasted for 9 sessions. The experimental groups received explicit metapragmatic information on request and a dialogue construction task in pairs. The result of the study showed the experimental groups outperformed the control group in producing request making.
