Abstract:

This study was an attempt to study is there any interference in learning preposition of English for Iranian student. For this purpose, 08 students of English language translation of both gender anddifferent term also different age were selected to investigate the interference in learning prepositionof English for Iranian student. All of the participants were requested to provide answers the preposition test developed by the researcher. The analysis of the second research question and results of the test show there is interference in learning preposition especially in second kind. So we can conclude the most sources of errors in second language learning is due to interference
