Productivity and Efficiency Analysis of Saderat Bank in Different Provinces

Thia study presents an integrated DEA methodology using banker charnes cooper (BCC) input oriented model for assessment and optimization of provincial banks of Bank Saderat Iran. Number of employees number of ATMs and number of branches are used as input variables whereas total of rial resource and foreign exchange and total loans are used as output variables. Moreover, 37 provincial banks of bank saderat Iran used as decision making units (DMU2s) and DEA-BCC model is used to assess their efficiency and rank in 2007. PCA3 with Spearman correlation technique is used to verify and validate the finding of DEA-BCC approach. In addition, all provincial banks have been ranked assessed and optimized in comparison with all DMUs. Then a non-parametric approach is used that enables changes in productivity to be broken down into variations in efficiency and technical change.
