Abstract:
Cysticercus tenuicollis occurs all over the world. C. tenuicollis is a larva of t. hydatigena which is the most important parasite of sheep and goats. C. tenuicollis reduce of livestock carcasses and is susceptible to other diseases often. The effects of infection with Cysticercus tenuicollis can be also significant and to create weight loss and reduced production. In this study, the goat was 3 years old and female. Before slaughtering lose weight and lethargy were observed. After necropsy internal organs were investigated for disorders. After the necropsy c. tenuicollis were found in the cystic stage in the urinary bladder and a cyst attached to the urinary bladder. The dogs are definite host of C. tenuicollis that could be seen in older ages. The infected goats to c. tenuicollis show clinical signs of abnormality during ante-mortem that should not allowed to enter slaughterhouse
