A Literature Review on Park Classification and Function

The classification of park lands is an important first step in concentrating the planning, development and management labors energetic to balancing public recreation chances. Park Classification System is a general framework intended to guide open space and public facilities planning, and also to assist in the development of public and private land management plans. A park is an area of natural, semi-natural, or planted space set aside for human recreation or for the protection of wildlife or natural habitats. This study aims to add this current consideration by investigate classifications of parks. The objectives were to see the scale of a park can variety from a National park to Neighborhood Park. There are many main types of parks: National Park, Provincial, Regional, Municipal Park, Special Use Park, Countywide park, Mini park, Open lands defined, Resource based park, Natural Park
