Abstract:
One of the most strategies in modification of the lake water right is water demand management (including development of optimum cropping pattern with considering of maintaining the economy level in the current situation, maintaining of food security, lack of excessive unemployment as well as observance of principles of plant, soil and water comprehensive management. For this purpose, Multi Objective Decision Making model (MODM) was used. Based on the results, reducing the share of crops with high water requirements (such as sugar beet, alfalfa and tomato) and entrance of crops with low irrigation requirement (canola, saffron and sorghum), decreased total water net requirement about 16.3 percent and increased economical levels of agriculture activity about 10 percent in the study area. In the purposed crop pattern, the employment rate was decreased about 6.4 percent that it can be compensated via reinforcement of other aspects such as rural professions and rural industries or tourism
