The use of lean principles in construction projects is necessary to raise effectiveness, reduced costs and minimize customer response time. Beside this, nowadays, implementing Green practices in industry has been compulsory in many countries since it decreases energy consumption and waste production. This article shows contributing of integrating Lean and Green principles in construction projects. Several papers have been reviewed and the similarities, differences and interaction of them are reported. It can be concluded that Lean and Green practices can be synergetic and lean can be implemented as a catalyst for Green practices
