Abstract:

Although the basic principles of electrical machines were invented more than 200 years ago but its technology is in permanent evolution. For diverse amount of power rates, all moving electromechanical devices need designing, manufacturing, testing, condition monitoring, and control techniques. This way, industrial electronics is certainly a key partner of electrical machines in their real environments with applications of sensors, power converters, digital control circuits, and more. This article will draw large interest within the electrical machines and drives community. The professionalism of the selected papers together with a meticulous management of all the review processes will guarantee that the reviewed articles can be contained the state of the art of the proposed topics, providing readers an updated and broad vision of them.
