Abstract:

Since most practical systems has nonlinear structure, so we need a new method to design controller, which can be cover their nonlinearity. This method is State-Dependent Riccati Equation (SDRE) and we ve chosen it for this article. One of the main advantages of this method is flexible design feature. It provides additional degrees of freedom in State Dependent Coefficient (SDC) form which other nonlinear design methods do not have that advantage. In this work, the optimal control problem of the nonlinear system is solved by SDRE algorithm. The main approach in this paper converting Differential-SDRE equation to Differential Lyapunov Equation (DLE). Since we can solve Differential Lyapunov Equation, consequently Differential-SDRE equation will be solved. Illustrative examples selected in this article are nonlinear regulator and tracking problems for Thrust-Vectored Ducted Fan Aircraft system. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the SDDRE method
