خلاصه مقاله:
High Impedance Faults (HIFs) are usually happens with electric arc, which results in several harmonic components in fault current waveforms. This paper analysis harmonics of HIF current, which can be used for HIF detection. First, arc models are introduced for both symmetric and asymmetric fault currents. Next, magnitude of harmonic components for symmetric HIF current are derived, for different ignition voltages. Finally, simulation results are obtained for both symmetric and asymmetric HIF, using Matlab. The simulation results present the HIF currents components up to 100th harmonic.
